PPP Goes to Portland!

Hey Ya'll,

No we didn't die in a skiing accident involving bears and we were not drafted in any army, we've been "away."

But we are going to be poking our head out of the ground for a short while at the Portland Zine Symposium this weekend (24th, 25th & 26th) and sharing a table with our good friend (and fellow publisher/writer) Riley Michael Parker.

Furthermore your's truly (Mo) is speaking on a panel about ways in which small presses can function in a society that doesn't give a shit about fiction/poetry with Michael Riley Parker and Kevin Sampsell (editor, Future Tense Publishing) at 2PM on Saturday the 25th.

There are even rumors that alcohol will be consumed during said panel.

General ruckus may ensue.

So if you're going to be in the Portland Metro area come by, say hi and buy a book because we are goddamn broke and we love your smiling faces.

Blessings,
The Staff

AWPee

Salutations Consumers & Eye-Users,

One of the attractive and chummy editors (Alex/me) of PinchPinchPress will be at AWP this year and wants YOU to come and see him. I will have copies of Barnaby Jones issue #1 & #2 for sale and some goodies. Due to lack of cash I'll will be sharing a table with the lovely editors of West Wind Review: K. Silem Mohammad and Lacey Hunter.

So visit me.

Buy me 10 beers.

Adios, folks...

...for now. We're in Full Emergency Mode. Small, hand-bound journals are a-flyin'. One of our trusty, lusty editors, Mr. Maurice "Alex" Burford, is off to brave the Chicago icicles with copious amounts of Pinch Pinch goodies to share with you all. He'll be balancing on the corner of the West Wind Review book fair table with some other good folks, so go have a look!

If you place an order for ISSUE 1 tomorrow or later, we won't be able to ship it until the AWP tornado is over. If you're going to be at AWP, you might want to wait, as ISSUE 2 will be ready and we might just have a lil' package deal for you lovelies.

Onward!

open call for submissions for issue #3

PinchPinchPress is charging forward into the cold heart of winter and we need your help!

Issue #3 is shaping up to be a long poem / short short prose issue. So send us something with a little moxie. Please nothing too linear or preachy (unless it involves Snoop Dogg, the Keebler Elves, and pile of cookies).

Submissions are open until March 10th.

----------------------------------------------------

Also we're always looking for art. It has to be compatible with our small format and only the cover image can be in full color. And it should make us feel like we have been made love to by a very small horse.

Issue #1 is Away!

If you ordered a copy or were a contributor, your book is on its way!

We thank you for your patience.

The Paypal button will be back up this weekend now that we're caught up.

Issue #2 Should be out before Valentine's Day.

We will also be sharing a table with The West Wind Review at AWP this February.
